About Us

Den-Wil Hospitality’s portfolio includes both hotels and restaurants. Hotels include the Econolodge Inn and Suites in Brookings, SD., the Super 8 in Fremont, Ne., the Pier 81 Lake Resort on Lake Poinsett, SD, and the new Comfort Suites University hotel located in Brookings, SD. Restaurant and catering operations include the Mama Mia Italian Restaurant on South Main, the Lodge at the Econolodge, Wilbert’s at the Wilbert Square Event Center attached to the Comfort Suites on 25th Ave. — this will open the fall of 2018 — and Den Wil Catering, which serves the Wilbert Square Event Center and also does external catering. Also included in the portfolio are three event and banquet centers: the 4,500 square foot Old Sanctuary on Medary Avenue, the 3,700 square foot Staurolite Room at the Econolodge Inn and Suites, and the new 24,000 square foot Wilbert Square Event Center with its 10,400 square foot Great Room.
