Meet and Greet with Shelby Lentz
Meet and Greet Shelby Lentz, an inspirational singer/songwriter living with Huntington's Disease. Shelby is a champion for Huntington's Disease who uses her talent and personal story to raise money and awareness to fight HD. The Shephard's Gift is honored to host her South Dakota tour including performances at Brookings Downtown at Sundown, Summer Arts Festival and Watertown Jenkins Living Center. Shelby's talent was recognized at an early age and by fourteen, she was singing the National Anthem at local sporting venues, performed for the first time at the Wild Bull Saloon and earned over 100,000 votes in Bob Kingsley's Future Star online competition. It would not take long before she was grabbing the attention of others in the industry and at just fifteen she opened at The State Theater in Kalamazoo for Warner Music artist, Frankie Ballard. It was also about this time that she began collaborating with local songwriters on original music as well. Shelby is currently attending Belmont University in Nashville, TN to continue pursuing her ambitions in the music industry. Shelby performs a mixture of songs that will delight all audiences of all ages. Refreshments will be served.
