    2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising in New York City. In 50 years our society and this community have come a long way, but there is still room for improvement in creating truly diverse and inclusive working environments for every employee.
     
    During this event we will discuss:

    • Understanding Inherent Bias
    • Building Inclusivity


    Charmaine Houck (www.charmainehouck.com) is a motivational speaker, author, body-positive advocate, and local, queer community member. She recently founded Brookings PRIDE and is producing the first-ever pride event in Brookings, SD. She is also the co-founder of Midwest Maidens Roller Derby and Brookings Girls Pint Out. She is a philanthropist at heart and is happy to be able to giveback in the community through many avenues, including being a Girl Scout mom and co-leader.
