Brookings Area United Way will host 211 University in Brookings. This is an opportunity to learn more about how to utilize the 211 Helpline, and the type of needs/questions the Helpline Center answer daily. The Helpline Center staff will be in town to conduct 211 University. Brookings Area United Way is committed to fighting for the health, education and financial stability for every resident in the county. One way we can help to strengthen our community is to ensure that our non-profit leaders, service providers and church personnel can find resources in our county,” said Heidi Gullickson. 211 University contains pertinent information regarding how to use all the services of the Helpline Center. Database staff will share tips and tricks including how to search and find resources through our 211 online database, various resources guides, translating resources, and more! 211 University is open to the public. Advance registration is requested.
