Connect 2140 is an affiliate of the Brookings Chamber of Commerce developed for young professionals primarily targeted between the ages 21 and 40. However, we won’t kick you out if you are over the age limit! The mission of Connect 2140 is to assist young professionals to network and develop personally and professionally in an effort to retain dynamic and vibrant young individuals in the Brookings area.

Connect Off the Clock
A social gathering with other young professionals from the area. Never been to one of our events, grab a friend and come see what it is all about! Maybe you’re looking to network, bring your business cards! We will have raffle drawings at each event for great prizes along with free drinks and appetizers for all those that attend. Did we mention it is free to attend? Enjoy a great evening of networking, enjoyable food/drink, and great company!

Professional Development WorkshopThese free workshops will include topics such as Resume Building, Personal Branding, and Interviewing to name a few. So, join us for an hour of Professional Development!
Leaders TalkThis event features a Brookings businessman or businesswoman that has made great strides in their community as a business leader. Come listen to one of the great leaders of Brookings and how they rose to the position they are at today. Following comments from the Brookings leader, they will provide a tour at their place of business. Please be sure to RSVP for this free event, they have limited availability!
